DAY 12 –Rest day 2 in Nelson
This involved
visiting the very helpful Village cycles shop to get some worn and broken parts
on my bike sorted and also the purchase of a bike bell! Critical component
which I would make good use.
I stopped in at a
CAP money management seminar and met Dave Harris who is the CAP Nelson regional
manager and chatted with other CAP volunteers over the courses lunch.
The rest of the day
was the usual rest day activities, posting updates and photos, blogging and
servicing the bike. I also booked the rest of the accommodation for the south
island although the events over the next couple of days would result in this
accommodation being cancelled or moved.
